Set your availability

Tell Your Day Schedule when you're open — working hours, buffers, a daily limit, and time off — and it offers clients only the slots that truly work, each shown in their own timezone.

Your availability lives at Dashboard → Availability. Everything below combines into the exact slots clients can pick — and clients always see those slots converted to their own timezone.

Set your working hours

The Working hours card is where you set the hours you're open, day by day (Monday–Sunday), in 30-minute steps. New accounts start at 9:00–17:00.

Working hours are your recurring weekly schedule. For one-off changes — a single busy afternoon or a week of vacation — use Blocked dates below instead of editing your weekly hours.

Buffers and daily limits

The Buffer card adds breathing room and caps busy days:

Buffers block the surrounding time from being booked, and the daily limit stops a single day from being overbooked.

Block dates and time off

The Blocked dates card is for holidays, vacation, or one-off days off:

  1. Pick a Start date (and an optional End date for a range).
  2. Add an optional Reason so you remember why later.
  3. Save — those days drop off your booking page.

If you have Google Calendar connected, YourDay also adds a "Blocked" event for those days so the time off shows on your calendar too.

How bookable slots work

A time is offered to a client only when all of these are true:

Everything is calculated in your timezone, then shown to each client in theirs.

If something's off

No slots show on my booking page

Slots appear at the wrong time

Check the timezone on the Working hours card. Clients see times converted to their timezone, which is expected — the times are correct relative to yours.

An outside meeting isn't blocking my availability

That calendar probably isn't connected. Open Availability → Calendar connections and connect Google, Outlook, or iCloud so its events reserve your time.
